First Reconciliation(Confession): (1st – 12th Grades)

Reconciliation allows children to experience what it means to be sorry, to make up or “reconcile” their relationship with Our Lord. Children learn both to seek and to give forgiveness.

Parent and child will attend three sessions together in preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation from October to November during scheduled formation classes.

First Eucharist(Communion)/Confirmation: (3rd Grade – 12th)

First Eucharist and Confirmation are ongoing faith formation in the lives of children as well as the family and the parish. First Communion and Confirmation is provided for children 3rd-6th grades who have been baptized and who are eight years old or within six months of turning eight by the time the Sacraments are received. The Sacrament of Confirmation seals us with gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Parent and Child attend five sessions together for preparation of the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation from February to May, during scheduled formation classes.
