Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are adults with a deep love for the Eucharist commissioned by the Bishop to serve the body and blood of Christ to the people of Mount Carmel parish during mass. If you’re interested in volunteering for this ministry please contact the ministry head.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is in need of altar servers - children in fifth grade or above who have celebrated their Confirmation and their First Holy Communion to serve the community by assisting at the altar during Mass. Lectors at Our Lady of Mount Carmel are parishioners who are comfortable speaking to large audiences. Proclaiming the word of God is not only a service but a gift that is meant to be shared. If you’re interested in volunteering for this ministry please contact the ministry head.
The Music Ministry aspires to create a positive, uplifting environment centered on Christ, fervent in the Holy Spirit, and rooted in prayer.

Sunday childcare provides care for children ages infant to five years old. Childcare is provided during 9am and 11am masses in the preschool building.
An usher is a man or woman who helps to facilitate greeting people as they enter the Church. They also help seating at Mass, tacking up the collection and kepping an orderly flow during communion. Ushers are those who are interested in showing a welcome and hospitable presence.
Ushers and greeters for Sunday and Holy Day masses are always needed to assist with the smooth operation of mass here at Mount Carmel. New parishioners are encouraged to volunteer for this ministry.
