The Parent Advisory Board meets monthly and consists of parents and non-voting members: the Preschool director, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Home & School Vice President, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Assistant Principal. Each class is represented by a parent.

The Advisory Board meets to discuss the operation of the Preschool and give input into a number of areas. Minutes are taken at the meetings and are shared with the Pastor and Principal as a means of communicating how we are functioning and what we are accomplishing. A monthly newsletter is produced by the advisory board members. Fundraisers are hosted several times during the school year along with other social gatherings to build community within the program.

Parent Advisory Board President and Vice-President are nominated by the previous year’s board members. Additional members are chosen from those who indicate an interest at the time of registration.
