Featured Ministries

Each child will attend Catechesis of the Good Shepherd once a week. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is for children ages 3-9. “We believe that God and child have a unique relationship with one another particularly before the age of six.” With the prepared environment called “the Atrium” and presentations done by a trained catechist, the child is “called forth” in response rather than “poured in” information. The child with the catechist will enjoy meditating on the questions generated by the scriptures with the prepared environment as a development aid.

A few of the Presentations for ages 3 – 5: Practical Life Skills such as: spooning, polishing, plant care and flower arranging. Life of the Church; Altar Work and Liturgical Colors, Bible stories; The Good Shepherd, The Mustard, Seed, and The Annunciation.
