WEDDING INFORMATION
Congratulations on being called to the Sacrament of Marriage.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel welcomes and congratulates couples wanting to celebrate their love in the Sacrament of Matrimony. Effective January 2010, the Diocese of Phoenix mandates a nine-month preparation process. We ask that at least one of the parties to be married be a registered member of this parish.

The first step in your Marriage Preparation is to attend the Marriage Orientation Seminar. This seminar is offered on the second Sunday of each month (except in May), following the 11:00 AM Mass. The couples gather in the Marian Garden. At that time, couples will receive an information packet, have the “Covenant of Love” preparation process explained and have an opportunity to ask their questions about the diocesan and parish requirements for the celebration of their marriage.

Effective January 2010, the Diocese of Phoenix put into affect a new policy for marriage prep entitled "Covenant of Love”. (Click here to register for Covenant of Love Classes) This marriage prep process now consists of 7 different steps. Once you have attended the Wedding Orientation, you will need to follow the “Covenant of Love” process.
