God came to us more than 2000 years ago in a stable in Bethlehem and He comes to us again this Christmas.
Amidst our celebrations this Christmas, let us pause for a second to look around us to recognize that Jesus is among us. What a great mystery! God who created heaven and earth became man to love us. How can we not be amazed by this mystery? He came not for the world in general but for me; for me with a name and He wants to stay in my heart. Yes, in mine; because God is personal, He doesn’t see us as a group of people, He sees and loves each of us by name.
Some of the things we do as a community around the world is organize some Christmas campaigns to spread the Christmas message to others, specially to the people who are in most need. Christ is present in our brothers and sisters so let’s open up our eyes to be ready to see Him when He comes in this Christmas season. Let’s spread God’s salvation message to the ones we have around
“Dear brothers and sisters listening to me here in Rome and throughout the world, I joyfully proclaim the message of Christmas: God became man, he came to dwell among us. God is not distant: He is Emmanuel, God with us. He is no stranger: he has a face, the face of Jesus. This message is ever new, ever surprising, for it surpasses even our most daring hope” Pope Emeritus Benedict XVIBACK TO LIST
