As we have shared with you in previous weeks, during the month of December our community held our First General Assembly, and for that reason Sr. Maria Jose and Sr. Monica traveled to Peru to meet with all the perpetual sisters from the order coming from all corners of the world. During the Assembly besides choosing our new General Superior and General Council we got to discuss and work on the future of our community by setting the priorities for the next five years. It was a lot of hard work but a time of plentiful blessings for our community. We know that many of you were praying for us and we are grateful for that, we could feel the grace of your prayers during our meetings!
Now that we are back we are happy to have been confirmed in our assignments here in the USA. As you know Sr. Maria Jose is serving now full time in ASU Newman Center and Sr. Monica beside other things is serving here at OLMC helping out adults who are preparing to come into the Church through the RCIA program. Today was an important date for some of our candidates. All of those attending RCIA who have been baptized into another faith and are being prepared into reception to the Roman Catholic Church are participating this evening in the Rite of Continuing Conversion in the Cathedral with Bishop Olmstead. Please pray for them and for our Catechumens who will be baptized in the Easter Vigil so that they continue to grow in their own journey of faith. They are relying on your prayer support!BACK TO LIST
