About the Devotion

At Fatima, Portugal from May 13 to October 13, 1917, the Blessed Mother appeared to 3 children asking them to share a message with the world in order to bring about peace in the world. The Five First Saturdays devotion is one of the principal points of the Fatima message. It centers on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both impious and indifferent men. In return, the Blessed Mother promises to those who complete this devotion, to assist them at the hour of death with all of the graces necessary for the salvation of their souls. The fulfillment of this request for the Five First Saturdays devotion coupled with the consecration of Russia to Mary’s Immaculate Heart is what will bring about the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart and peace in the world.
