Enjoy re-reading the weekly reflections from the Sisters of The Servants of the Plan of God.
Greetings to all of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel parishioners! My name is Sister Maria Gracia. Sister Alejandra and I arrived on Friday, the 27th of October in Phoenix. It is a blessing for us to finally be here with all of you. Thank you for your warm welcome, generosity, and hospitality; we feel like we’re home already!
Here’s a little bit about myself: I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and I am 24 years old. I enjoy reading the lives of the saints and science fiction novels, as well as playing all sorts of games (especially board games and Frisbee), baking and playing the guitar.
I entered the community of the Servants of the Plan of God in 2015, and I am deeply grateful to God for my vocation, my sisters, and our mission. I heard God’s calling to consecrated life a couple of years after my First Communion, when I realized Jesus was calling me to be close friends with Him - forever. And later on during my last year of high school, when I started serving the children at a hospital and at a shelter. It was Jesus’ invitation to love and serve Him in the poor and needy that drove me to follow Him and give Him my whole life.
I look forward to sharing many experiences in the Lord with you, and getting to know you more!BACK TO LIST
